This was progressive over time and not a new version bug. After having used Skype with a lot of groups for several years Skype was taking forever to load and running poorly. If you don’t want to delete the entire history, but DO want to hide some specific messages from showing up, you may find this or this useful though I’ve not tested them. Lets say you received or sent some obnoxious or flirty messages to someone on Skype that you’d rather other users of your computer never stumble across. once the message has existed in the Skype server for a while… it’s not deletable. While you can always delete (replace with “message removed”) a recently posted message. Taking another approach… What about removing only a portion of the conversation you had with someone?
